BY USING TACHIBOT MCP, YOU ACCEPT ALL RISKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES. THE AUTHOR AND CONTRIBUTORS HAVE ZERO LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGES, COSTS, OR ISSUES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THIS SOFTWARE.
1. No Warranty
TachiBot MCP is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

- Non-infringement
- Accuracy, reliability, or correctness of outputs
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Security or data protection
2. Author's Null Responsibility
The author(s) and contributor(s) of TachiBot MCP have ZERO responsibility for:
API Costs and Billing
- Third-party API charges - You are solely responsible for all costs incurred through Perplexity, OpenAI, xAI (Grok), Google (Gemini), OpenRouter, and any other AI provider APIs
- Unexpected charges - Multi-model workflows can result in high API usage; we provide no guarantees about cost estimation accuracy
- Billing disputes - Any disputes must be resolved directly with the API provider
- Rate limiting fees - Overages or penalties from exceeding provider limits
Output Quality and Accuracy
- Hallucinations - AI models may generate false, misleading, or harmful information
- Incorrect results - No guarantee that outputs are accurate, complete, or suitable for your purpose
- Bias and discrimination - AI models may produce biased, offensive, or discriminatory content
- Code quality - Generated code may contain bugs, security vulnerabilities, or performance issues
- Professional advice - TachiBot outputs do not constitute legal, medical, financial, or professional advice
Technical Issues
- Data loss - No backup or recovery guarantees
- Security breaches - Potential exposure of API keys or sensitive data
- System compatibility - May not work on all systems or configurations
- Breaking changes - Updates may break existing workflows or configurations
- Third-party dependencies - Issues with MCP protocol, FastMCP, or AI provider APIs
Business and Legal Consequences
- Compliance violations - Use that violates GDPR, CCPA, or other regulations
- Contract breaches - Violations of AI provider terms of service
- Intellectual property issues - Potential copyright or trademark infringements in outputs
- Reputation damage - Consequences from publishing AI-generated content

3. Your Sole Responsibility
As a user of TachiBot MCP, you are 100% responsible for:
Cost Management
- Monitoring all API usage and associated costs
- Setting spending limits on provider platforms
- Understanding pricing models of all AI services you use
- Configuring workflows to avoid excessive API calls
- Paying all bills from third-party AI providers
Output Verification
- Reviewing all AI-generated content before use
- Fact-checking outputs for accuracy
- Testing generated code in safe environments
- Validating outputs meet your quality standards
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Security
- Protecting your API keys and credentials
- Following security best practices (gitignore, key rotation, etc.)
- Understanding data privacy implications of sending data to AI providers
- Complying with your organization's security policies
- Managing access controls and permissions
Compliance
- Adhering to all AI provider terms of service
- Ensuring use complies with applicable laws
- Obtaining necessary permissions for data processing
- Respecting intellectual property rights
- Meeting industry-specific regulations (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.)
4. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS, CONTRIBUTORS, OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, whether in an action of contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from, out of, or in connection with TachiBot MCP or the use or other dealings in the software.
This includes, but is not limited to:

- You agree to resolve disputes directly with the providers

TachiBot MCP is distributed under the ISC License. The license text is provided in the LICENSE file of the repository. By using this software, you agree to the terms of the ISC License.
7. Prohibited Use
While TachiBot is open source, you agree NOT to use it for:
- Illegal activities or purposes
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations

- Activities that violate AI provider policies
8. No Support Obligation
The authors and contributors have no obligation to:

- Update or improve the software
- Respond to questions or requests
- Continue development
While we may choose to provide support or updates, we make no promises or commitments.
9. Pricing Information Disclaimer
Any pricing information mentioned in documentation is:
- Not guaranteed to be accurate - Providers change pricing frequently
- For reference only - Always check official provider pricing pages
- Not our responsibility - We have no control over provider pricing
- Subject to change - Rates may vary by region, tier, or usage

These terms may be updated at any time without notice. Continued use of TachiBot MCP after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. You are responsible for reviewing these terms periodically.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the authors, contributors, and copyright holders from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

- API costs or billing disputes
- Outputs generated by AI models

13. Entire Agreement
These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the TachiBot MCP authors regarding use of the software and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
